Harald Haack – Als ein deutsches Nachrichtenmagazin kürzlich über einen Islam-Blog berichtete, ohne den Link dazu direkt zu nennen, war das Wissen über die Existenz dieses Blogs, auf denen die „Helden-Elegien“ der Terrororganisation Al Qaida in deutscher Übersetzung zu finden ist, keineswegs neu. Doch das Nachrichtenmagazin hat damit maßgeblich die Möglichkeit zum Auffinden der terroristischen „Nachrichtenquelle“ erleichtert. So wurden letztendlich auch deutsche Fahnder mutmaßlich darauf aufmerksam. Ein Blogger, der einen kannte, der den Terror-Link kennt, frotzelte, jetzt könne sich das BKA aufwendige und kostspielige Übersetzungen der Terror-Texte sparen.

Nun publiziert die Bundesanwaltschaft aufgrund eines Haftbefehls 28. September 2006 des Ermittlungsrichters vom Bundesgerichtshof, sei nunmehr am 10. Oktober 2006 in der Nähe von Osnabrück der 36 Jahre alten irakischen Staatsangehörigen Ibrahim R. festgenommen und seine Wohnung sei durchsucht worden.

Der weitere Wortlaut der Pressemitteilung der deutschen Generalbundesanwaltschaft:
“Die Maßnahmen wurden unter der Leitung eines Staatsanwaltes der Bundesanwaltschaft durch Beamte des Landeskriminalamtes Niedersachsen durchgeführt. Dem Beschuldigten wird zur Last gelegt, seit dem 24. September 2005 von seinem Wohnsitz aus in zahlreichen Fällen Audio und Videobotschaften der Rädelsführer der ausländischen terroristischen Vereinigungen Al Qaeda und Al Qaeda im Zweistromland, nämlich von Usama Bin Laden, Ayman Al Zawahiri und Abu Musab Al Zarqawi, über das Internet weltweit weiterverbreitet und dadurch diese Vereinigungen in ihren terroristischen Aktivitäten und Zielsetzungen unterstützt zu haben.

Zur Aufklärung dieses Sachverhalts haben das Niedersächsische Landesamt für Verfassungsschutz, das Landeskriminalamt Niedersachsen und das Bundeskriminalamt maßgeblich beigetragen. Mit den Ermittlungen ist weiterhin das Landeskriminalamt Niedersachsen beauftragt. Der Beschuldigte wird morgen dem Ermittlungsrichter des Bundesgerichtshofs vorgeführt werden.

Weitere Einzelheiten zu den Tatvorwürfen können aus ermittlungstaktischen Gründen nicht mitgeteilt werden.“

Fast schon triumphierend schreibt das Nachrichtenmagazin falls die Fahnder des Landeskriminalamtes vor Gericht beweisen könnten, dass „man“ (womit praktisch alle Blogger gemeint sind) durch Publikationen im Internet Al Qaida unterstützt, so würde die „neuen Verfahren“ den Weg ebnen. Bundesinnenminister Schäuble könnte sich auf diese Weise ihm lästige, ehrenamtliche Kritiker vom Hals schaffen. Und das Nachrichtenmagazin weiß: „Viele Cyber-Dschihadisten allerdings, die sich im Internet tummeln, sind Freelancer. Sie agieren unabhängig und ohne belastbare Verbindungen zum Kern der Qaida – sind aber gleichzeitig Teil des globalen Phänomens der virtuellen Ein-Mann-Zellen. Sie sind gewissermaßen Lautsprecher des Terrors, und Ibrahim R. scheint ein solcher publizistischer Knoten im immer diffuser und verzweigter werdenden Netzwerk des globalen Dschihads gewesen zu sein. Er war einer, der offenbar dafür sorgte, dass man jede Bin-Laden-Rede auch wirklich fand.“

Und er ist wahrscheinlich einer derjenigen, die maßgeblich mithelfen die Pressefreiheit zu vernichten und damit auch die private Blogger-Konkurrenz des Presse-Mainstreams vor die Bluthunde hetzen. Es ist schon enorm interessant, dieses harmonische Zusammenspiel von Presse-Mainstream und Kriminalisten, das Wechselspiel von „Werbetrommel für Al Qaida-Propaganda“ und „Denunziantentum“.

The Russian scenario for the Iraqi WMD withdrawal in 2003
Just five days after the beginning of the 2nd war in Iraq (after March 19-20,2003), the Russia’s Foreign Minister, Igor Ivanov, declared that Washington could fabricate evidence of Iraq allegedly hiding WMDs (…) to justify the US-led attack on Baghdad. Speaking before the Federation Council (Russian Upper House), Ivanov said: „Even if the American-British forces report that they have found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the final assessment may be given only by international inspectors“. [Times of India, Wednesday, March 26, 2006].

It seems like Mr. Ivanov knew that the Coalition forces could not find any WMDs in Iraq, during or after the military operations. However, this is no proof.

Almost to the „last minute“, before the Coalition invaded Saddam’s Iraq, the Russian Government tried to prevent the war and to stop the US-led attack on the Iraqi regime. The Russians could have blocked the United States, if the USG would put the final decision about the war into the hands of the members of the UN Security Council. But the USG decided to bypass the UN and strike first. President Vladimir Putin and the Russian military leaders decided to take preventive measures to avoid the blame in case the Coalition forces run into big depos of Russian-produced WMDs or components for their production, stored in Iraq. At the same time, saving their own face, they could accuse the Americans of „fabricating“ WMD evidence as a „casus bellum“.

The carefully planned Russian „cleaning up“ operation was confided to the GRU (Military Intelligence), Spetsnaz (Special Troops) and Russian military and civilian logistic personnel in Iraq, under the command of two experienced ex-Soviet generals, Col.Gen. Vladislav Achalov and Col.Gen. Igor Maltsev, both retired and posing as civilian commercial consultants (see the bios of the generals and the pictures in the Appendix ).

From the original Russian report (Gazeta.ru, April 2,2003):
„The photos show Achalov and Maltsev receiving awards from Iraqi Defence Minister Sultan Hashim Akhmed. Another photo commemorating the event features the Russian generals in the company of the head of the General Staff of the Iraqi Army Izzat Ibragim and his deputies. On the photo published above the Iraqi official is standing between Achalov and Maltsev.“

The ceremony was held “less than 10 days before the beginning of the war“ in a building that was destroyed by US cruise missiles in the first few hours of air raids on Baghdad. What exactly the Soviet generals received their awards for, our source would not say.

(…) As to why the two Soviet generals received the top military awards of the Iraqi Republic on the eve of war, Vladislav Achalov would not say. He did remark, however, that he “didn’t fly to Baghdad to drink coffee“.

Thus, one can only conjecture what role the Soviet generals have played in preparing the Iraqi army for the war. That their role was important is proved at least by the fact that both Achalov and Maltsev, as Gazeta.Ru has learnt, have visited Iraq no less than 20 times in the past 5-6 years.

(… ) Perhaps it is mere coincidence, but namely Igor Maltsev is rated as one of the best Russian experts in the sphere of operating air-defence systems, while Vladislav Achalov has extensive experience in the field of using rapid-reaction forces.

(…) Yet, Russia’s indirect participation in the training of the Iraqi army to repulse the US-led invasion (in effect, Iraq is using the unique experience of Russia’s top, albeit retired officers) is likely to significantly complicate relations between Moscow and Washington.“

Several experts doubted whether the mission of the two Russian generals was to „prepare the Iraqi Army for the upcoming war“. Saddam’s army was still shattered after the 1991 First Gulf War, and the Russians were selling to Iraq their routine military equipment, which proved inferior to the U.S. military gear.

They could offer a more modern anti-aircraft radar, which played its role during the 2nd war. But perhaps the only way to defeat the Coalition forces in 2003 would be to use WMDs against them (chemical, biological, nuclear). No such weapons have been used during the 2003 Spring campaign and after. Russia wouldn’t risk her reputation by providing Saddam’s regime with the weapons of mass destruction. Therefore, it is very likely that the Russian generals and their military and civilian personnel were engaged in „cleaning operations“, rather than in the „defense-building“ military planning. When President Bush decided to go to war against Saddam Hussein, President Putin and his Government and Military Establishment must have realized that the war was to be lost for Saddam and for Russia, as his ally. A logical step to be taken was to deprive Saddam’s military forces of the WMD potential, which was truly useless as a part of the war machine.

But at the time of the 2nd Gulf War (2003), most of the WMDs and materials for their production have been already removed from Iraq to Syria and Lebanon (and earlier to Sudan, Libya and Algeria), either by the Iraqis themselves (with the help of Syria) or by the Russians.

The Russians probably did not participate in the evacuation of a greater part of the Iraqi WMD arsenal to Sudan, Libya and Algeria (via Jordan, by sea), as these evacuations were made by secret decisions of Saddam in the 1990s. But certainly they carried out the final cleaning, just weeks before the outbreak of the 2nd war against the Iraqi regime. The windfall from this Russian operation was mainly political (to undercut the U.S. Government’s rationale for going to the war to remove the Iraqi WMD threat).

But the Russians also secured gains for themselves: loosing their grip over Iraq, they moved their influence to Syria, a state hostile to Israel and a regime supporting armed guerilla in Iraq, after the war. In view of many military and intelligence experts, the Russian WMD-cleaning operation in Iraq was a „masterpiece“ of the military camouflage and political deception.

The Russian-led rivalry by proxies
Some high-ranking former Communist spymasters and/or spy defectors, like the former Romanian Intelligence chief, General Ion Pacepa, a Russian spy, Colonel Stanislav Lunev, and the former chief of the KGB bio-war program, Dr. Alexander Kouzminov, warned that the dismantling of the communist USSR in the early 1990s did not remove the military and political threats, which present-day Russia poses to the national security and to the global policy of the United States.

Not able to discuss this matter in full now, let me focus on the Russian WMD-cleaning operations in Iraq and its consequences:
Russia lost ground in Iraq, after the collapse of the Saddam Hussain regime, caused by the 2nd Gulf War, but it gained new strongholds in Syria and Iran.

Russia is able to destabilize the situation in Iraq by secretly supporting and arming post-Saddam guerillas and terrorist groups, to oppose the American policy and the American interests in Iraq and in the Middle East Region.

Russia can exert political and military pressure on Israel by supporting the Syrian regime, the Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Hamas in the Palestinian Autonomy.

Russia is helping the regime in Iran to become a regional political and military power (with an ever stronger influence in Iraq, too), and eventually a nuclear power threatening Israel, a large part of Europe and the American military bases in the entire Middle East Region and in Central Asia.

Most of the fighting is done by proxies. Russia has learned from its Afghanistan war not to engage her military forces abroad, apart from the sphere of her close neighborhood (called „near foreign lands“).

The United States should not seek their motives for invading the Iraqi regime in the WMD question alone. The Iraqi WMD secrets are to be found in Russia, in the first place. But it is not substantial for the Government of the United States to prove its true intentions for the past, victorious war in Iraq. It’s very important to observe the development of Russia’s new „imperial“ policy, which is threatening the U.S.A. and its world-wide interests.

The author of this paper is a veteran international journalist and a former intelligence operative (of the Polish Intelligence and the CIA). Deadly Germs
British counterintelligence (MI5) has recently identified 32 spies of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), operating under the cover of diplomatic immunity. They maintain communications with former secret KGB agents, who during the Cold War concealed, in the English countryside, biological weapons for use in a preemptive attack against British cities.

After the purge carried out in the KGB in the 1990s, which former CIA Director George Tenet called a game of appearances, agents dismissed from the service offered their extensive knowledge about the United Kingdom to whoever paid the most. An internal MI5 document prepared for Director Eliza Manningham Buller, maintains: „There is a great probability that certain (KGB — editor’s note) agents were recruited by al-Qa’ida.“ The MI5 has identified the license plate numbers of all the cars used by Russian spies. Several weeks ago a car with a number beginning with the digits 248D was noticed nearby an RAF base in Lyenam in the county of Wiltshire. The car was being driven by a middle-aged man.

The car was headed towards the road leading to Marlborough. An MI5 informant confirmed that in the opinion of the British services, part of the mission of the Russian spies is to make sure that the containers of biological weapons have not been found. Until recently, knowledge about the deadly bacteria concealed in the United Kingdom was highly confidential, even Eliza Manningham Buller and her specialists on Russian intelligence had no idea about their existence.

Kuzminov’s Revelations
It was only Aleksandr Kuzminov, a former commander of KGB spies, who disclosed that his agents had hidden these containers in the British countryside. It was he who suggested that certain spies operating in the United Kingdom were supposed to make sure that the deadly bacteria remained hidden. Kuzminov was chief of a super-secret KGB unit — Department 12 of Directorate S. „We were involved in biological espionage, planning and preparing attacks using biological weapons, sabotage, and biological warfare,“ Kuzminov disclosed. From his home in New Zealand, neighboring the home of former MI5 officer Peter Wright, Kuzminov announced: „Great efforts were made and vast money was spent (…). It would be naive to think that our people were dismissed from the service merely because Russia is participating in talks on biological disarmament in Geneva.“

In his book Biological Espionage, Kuzminov expresses his hope that this publication „will turn the attention of intelligence services.“ His revelations have shocked the MI5. Even the highest-ranking defectors from the USSR from the Cold War period, such as Oleg Gordiyevskiy and Vasiliy Mitrokhin, had no idea about the operations of Department 12. The deadly bacteria were bred by Russian scientists employed at the Soviet biological weapons program „Biopreparat.“

They received the objective of „producing bacteria against which Great Britain would be unable to defend itself.“ The bacteria were produced after the USSR signed the biological weapons convention in 1972. Scientists from Porton Down, the British biological defense center, are afraid that this may involve plague or even smallpox germs. „Biopreperat was actively involved in producing weapons of this sort,“ confirms Ken Alibek, former director of the program, who defected to the United States. Kuzminov stresses that by disclosing the sensational revelations of how his department left a collection of deadly bacteria in the English countryside, „I had no intention of exerting political pressure on any state or its policy.“ Ten years after leaving Department 12 and coming to reside with his wife in New Zealand, Kuzminov continues to refuse to enter the question of whether he knows where the deadly germs are concealed.

Usama’s Suitcase Bombs
On September 12, 2001, one day after the attack against the World Trade Center, an intensive search was launched for nuclear charges allegedly concealed at the New York port. Signals about the possibility of terrorists utilizing former Soviet „suitcase bombs“ came from US intelligence agencies.

Warnings had been received by the CIA
from other countries as well, including from Poland and the Czech Republic. Nuclear weapons were not then found, but the situation remains current five years later. Recent reports by US and UK intelligence point out mistakes in the reconnaissance of al-Qa’ida’s ability to employ weapons of mass destruction, and the ties between terrorists and the agents of former Soviet and current Russian intelligence.

A book by Paul L. Williams, Osama’s Revenge: The Next 9/11: What the Media and the Government Haven’t Told You, recently came out in the United States. Williams is an experienced investigative reporter, and was also an FBI consultant on fighting terrorism and the organized crime. He maintains that credible intelligence sources indicate that nuclear explosive charges („suitcase bombs“) may already lie hidden by „sleeping“ al-Qa’ida agents in the US cities: New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Miami, Washington, and… Rappahannock in the state of Virginia. Why there? Because there is an underground bunker nearby, the command center of the US Government in the event of war.

Williams describes in detail how al-Qa’ida may have obtained miniature post-Soviet nuclear weapons and what threat they may pose to the United States. „The Chechen mafia sold 20 suitcase nuclear charges to representatives of Usama Bin Ladin in Groznyy in 1996. Bin Ladin paid $30 million for them, and also threw in two tons of heroin.“ Perhaps 10 suitcase bombs are already in al-Qa’ida’s hands. In the opinion of outstanding US physicist Theodore Taylor, who miniaturized the atomic bomb, the suitcase bomb „emits intensive heat radiation, generating a ball of fire more than 100 meters across. The core of the ball reaches a temperature of 10 million degrees Celsius.“ The temperature that brought about the collapse of the WTC on 11 September 2001 was 5,000 degrees Celsius. Nuclear suitcase bombs, much more dangerous than „dirty“ radiological bombs, could immediately kill hundreds of thousands of Americans, while millions of people would die from radiation sickness

Attack Before the End of the Year?
„We can expect an attack to occur before the end of 2006,“ Williams told us. US intelligence and counterintelligence is not ignoring the danger.

Porter J. Gross, director of the CIA, told the special Senate intelligence committee: „A decision by al-Qa’ida or another group to use chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons may be only a matter of time.“ Robert S. Miller III, director of the FBI, recently announced: „I am very concerned at the growing number (…) of reports clearly pointing to the intentions of al-Qa’ida, which is striving to obtain chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons as well as high-energy explosive materials, and to use them against America.“ The expectation of an attack by terrorists is confirmed by Lowell Jacoby, director of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency). Information being exchanged between al-Qa’ida cells, such as over the Internet (constantly being intercepted by NSA electronic intelligence) indicates that there still exists a threat of an attack similar to the strikes of 9/11/2001.

Will „sleeping“ Soviet (now Russian) agents, who are watching over the hiding places of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons, take part in it? This cannot be ruled out. So far, secret stores of these weapons have not been found. This is extremely difficult in view of their small size and the vast territory in which they may have been concealed. The troubles could grow even greater: the next generation of Russian weapons is even more miniaturized, and hard to detect.

A Grenade That Kills Thousands
Sam Cohen, the inventor of the neutron bomb, has given Wprost weekly several important pieces of information that confirm his observations and experience from many years of monitoring the development of Soviet, and then Russian nuclear weapons. The Russians were the world leaders in the field of high-pressure technologies, leading to the production of so-called red mercury (RM 20/20, chemical formula Sb2O7Hg2), the basic material for producing cheap, miniaturized neutron bombs. Red mercury is a kind of highly thick gel. It serves as the detonator for a small amount of tritium (super-heavy hydrogen), which when exploding produces a wave of pulsing neutrons. In February 1992 Russian President Boris Yeltsin signed secret directive no. 75-RPS permitting the Russian company Promekologia to produce and sell (including abroad) up to 10 tons of RM 20/20 per year. In the early 90s, the price of a kilogram of RM 20/20 exceeded $400,000. Difficulties in obtaining the mysterious substance caused numerous frauds, which the Russian mafia specialized in.

After 11 September 2001, both the demand for RM 20/20 and the price suddenly went up. On 24 September 2004, the British police arrested four individuals suspected of an attempt at purchasing a „radioactive substance, a material of great explosive potential, originally produced in Russia, known by the name of red mercury.“ The four suspects are said to have offered $541,000 for a kilogram on behalf of a Saudi Arabian (described as supporter of Islamic fundamentalists). Individuals suspected of trading in red mercury were also arrested in Italy. In one interview, the inventor of neutron weapons describes the properties of this extraordinary explosive material: „Most worrisome is the ease with which in a neutron bombs can be constructed using red mercury. This substance is a compound containing mercury that has been exposed to radiation. When it explodes, it generates a high temperature and pressure — sufficient for detonating a thermonuclear charge.“

Cohen maintains that the Americans have not managed to produce nuclear weapons using RM 20/20, despite attempts. In the USSR and then in Russia, on the other hand, research on these weapons was (and is) constantly being perfected. In 2004, Cohen confirmed for us the chemical composition and other technical parameters of RM 20/20 on the basis of a technical certification presented to him, coming from one of Russia’s secret laboratories. As early as in 1993, Russian General Negin publicly admitted that Russia was working on nuclear weapons with a very low radiation level, whereby a twofold explosive force had been achieved while halving the weight of the charge, as compared to existing types of such weapons. Describing its more specific parameters, another Russian specialist, Yevgeniy Kerolev, went on to say that red mercury has such a strong explosive force that a bomb the size of a grenade could sweep a ship from the surface of the sea.

An ideal terrorist weapon
Cohen pointed out that these neutron weapons are ideal for terrorists: cheap (without expensive uranium or plutonium), almost indetectable (a low level of radiation), and miniature (the size of a hand grenade). Furthermore, without destroying buildings, they send out a powerful stream of pulsing neutron radiation that penetrates the walls of bunkers. Such radiation kills all living organisms within a radius of half a kilometer. Detonated in a large city, it will kill thousands of people. There are increasing indications to confirm the suspicion that Putin’s Russia considers only the Chechens to be terrorists, and the brain of the world campaign of terrorists against the free world is Russian military intelligence (GRU).

With North Korea testing its first nuclear charge on Monday, October 9, 2006 and being the largest in the world producer of biological weapons, with Iran developing its nuclear capability, and al-Qaeda threatening the United States with a nuclear terrorist attack („American Hiroshima“), the public opinion should be aware of these dangers.

Lewis Smith, Environment Reporter – Seizures of smuggled radioactive material capable of making a terrorist “dirty bomb” have doubled in the past four years, according to official figures seen by The Times.

Smugglers have been caught trying to traffick dangerous radioactive material more than 300 times since 2002, statistics from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) show. Most of the incidents are understood to have occurred in Europe.

The disclosures come as al-Qaeda is known to be intensfiying its efforts to obtain a radoactive device. Last year, Western security services, including MI5 and MI6, thwarted 16 attempts to smuggle plutonium or uranium. On two occasions small quantities of highly enriched uranium were reported missing. All were feared to have been destined for terror groups.

Scientists responsible for analysing the seizures have given warning that traffickers are turning to hospital X-ray equipment and laboratory supplies as an illicit source of radioactive material.

Investigators believe that the smugglers, who come mainly from the former Eastern bloc, are interested only in making a swift fortune and believe that they may have no compunction in selling to jihadist groups. Most undercover operations and recent seizures have been kept secret to protect the activities of Western security services.

Rigorous controls on nuclear processors, especially with Russia co-operating to stop the trafficking of enriched plutonium and uranium, have limited smugglers’ access to weapons-grade nuclear materials. But medical and laboratory sources, including waste, remain vulnerable. Such radioactive waste can be used to make a dirty bomb.

A dirty bomb combines a conventional explosive, such as dynamite, with radioactive material such as spent nuclear fuel like highly enriched uranium and plutonium. In most instances the conventional explosive would kill more bystanders but the dispersion of the radioactive material would have a hugely damaging “fear” factor.

There were 103 cases of illicit trafficking last year, compared with fewer than 30 in 1996. Fifty-eight incidents were reported in 2002, rising to 90 in 2003 and 130 in 2004. Experts point out that seizures in the past three years equal the same amount of trafficking in the previous seven years.

Olli Heinonen, deputy director-general of the IAEA, which monitors trafficking and inspects nuclear plants to audit their radioactive materials, said that while weapons-grade nuclear material smuggling was now rare there were serious concerns about other radioactive substances.

“A dirty bomb is something that needs to be taken seriously. We need to be prepared for anything because anything could happen,” he said. “Terrorists look for the weakest link. We need to be alert and we need to be prepared.”

Al-Qaeda makes no secret of its desire to obtain a dirty bomb. Last month its leader in Iraq, Abu Hamza alMuhajer, called for scientists to join it and experiment with radioactive devices for use against coalition troops. Even before 9/11, Osama bin Laden invited two Pakistani atomic scientists to visit a training camp in Afghanistan to discuss how to assemble a bomb using stolen plutonium. Captured al-Qaeda leaders have since confessed to the CIA of their attempts to smuggle a radioactive device into the US.

Professor Klaus Lützenkir-chen, who helps to analyse the seized substances, said that even small quantities of radio-active material could be of use to terrorists.

“If someone gets hold of it, it is possible it could be used in a dirty bomb,” he said. He added that if such a dirty bomb were detonated in a town centre the physical effect would be comparatively small and unlikely to cause huge loss of life but would have an enormously damaging “fear factor”.

One of the most serious seizures since 9/11 was that of several kilograms of a radioactive substance known as yellow cake that was found in a consignment of scrap metal at the port of Rotterdam in December 2003.

Professor Lützenkirchen said that seizures have been made across Europe, usually at borders and sea ports. Most of the trafficked material originated from the Caucasus region where he said that there was “considerable activity” among smugglers.

Seizures have continued this year, though overall figures for 2006 are not yet available. They include the discovery in Germany of a small quantity of highly enriched uranium.

# High-level representatives from the US, Britain, France, Germany, China and Russia will meet today in London, where they are expected to refer the Iranian nuclear case to the UN Security Council after a defiant Tehran refused to suspend uranium enrichment.

Bin Laden im Film: The Road to Guantanamo. Der selbe Film wie jener der Oktoberüberraschung?

Die von Karl Rove, dem Hirn des amerikanischen Präsidenten Bush als Oktoberüberraschung angekündigte Wahlhilfe ist sehr wahrscheinlich das von der Sunday Times veröffentlichte Video. Es sind fünf Sequenzen. Zwei davon zeigen Osama bin Laden in wallenden Gewändern an einem Sit In, sehr wahrscheinlich in der Tarnak Farm. Das Video zeigt den 8.1.2000. (europäischer Zeitstempel) Laut Sunday Times lauschen rund hundert „hardcore“ Taliban den Worten des Fürsten bin Laden. Auch Kinder und Greise.

Die „hardcore“ Taliban des Berner Oberlandes
Die „hardcore Taliban“ schauen den Bauern im Berner Oberland, in Bayern oder in Texas verblüffend ähnlich – in Afghanistan tragen sie Turban. Einige haben Gewehre… haben sie in Texas auch. Schon mal an einem Schützenfest in den Berner Alpen gewesen? Da gibt es auch viele Waffen und viele bärtige. Schon mal an einer Appenzeller Landsgemeinde gewesen? Viele bärtige und bis vor wenigen Jahren keine Frauen und dafür viele Degen und Schwerter, denn ohne sie wurde nicht abgestimmt. Die Landsgemeinde, ein Schweizer Kuriosum. In Afghanistan sind es, obwohl die sitzenden keine Waffen tragen, „hardcore Taliban“. Sie lauschen den Worten des Terrorführers.

Der zweite Affe
Nichts sehen, nichts hören, nichts sagen. Die drei Affen sind Bestandteil der buddhistischen Lehre. Eigentlich heisst es „Nichts böses sehen, nichts böses hören, nichts böses sagen.“ Ist das der Grund, dass wir in dem Video nichts hören von Atta, Jarrah und bin Laden? Sagt er nichts Böses? Ist es einfach ein Treffen einer bäuerlichen Bevölkerung? Ist es nicht so, dass wenn der schweizerische, rechtslastige SVP Justizminister Christoph Blocher eine Rede hält auch mit Sicherheit einige Skinheads darunter sind? Ist deshalb die SVP eine Nazi Partei? Sind deshalb Bauern im Berner Oberland Skinheads? Und wenn sie Bärte tragen, das eidgenössische Feldschiessen mit Sturmgewehren schiessen und dann zum Wurst essen ins Festzelt gehen gar „hardcore Nazis“? Sicher nicht!

Gleichzeitig zu dem nichts sagenden Affen-Video wird ein Video gezeigt, welches angeblich Mohammed Atta und den Libanesen Ziad Jarrah zeigen. Atta von einer AK 47 flankiert. Zusammenhang? Keiner. Zeitstempel: 18.01.2000. Affigkeit Nummer zwei, der Clip ist stumm. Zehn Tage nachdem bin Laden lautlos zu Bauern gesprochen hat. Die beiden lachenden Top Terroristen sagen nichts. Trotzdem schreiben die Medien, dass sie ihr Testament verlesen. Was sagen die Lippenleser? Die können mit dem Lippengelesenen nichts anfangen. Ein ganz seltener hinteroberafgahnischer Dialekt vielleicht?

Die Lüge
Sunday Times schrieb, sie erhielt das Video über „getestete Kanäle“. Diese getesteten Kanäle sind – das kann man getrost so sagen – bullshit. Bei NBC hiess es dazu: : „The video released this weekend was found when the United States invaded Afghanistan in 2001. NBC obtained an analysis of the tape by U.S. intelligence experts, which scrutinizes every frame.“ Die gesicherten Kanäle waren also amerikanische Geheimdienst – und Militärquellen. Nicht nur: Aufnahmen des Affenclips bin Laden – spricht zu Bauern, sind in einem grossartigen Film zu sehen: „The Road to Guantenamo“. Zeitstempel des Clips: 1.8.2000! (amerikanischer Zeitstempel?) Egal ob Januar oder August; der Event ist derselbe, dasselbe Umfeld, die gleichen Bäume, der gleiche bin Laden, das selbe Mikrofon. Wie kommt es, dass der Film, der über „getestete Kanäle“ zu den Medien gelangte bereits in einem Film verarbeitet wurde? (Die Sequenz im Film befindet sich bei ca:1:15) Fürst bin Laden spricht im Film „The Road to Guantanamo“ wohl erst im Nachmittag und mit weisser – anstatt mit schwarzer Decke unter dem Mikrofon.

Und Atta?
Er war, das sagen einige Quellen, in Afghanistan. Aber und das ist unter diesen Umständen ein Schlüssel, offensichtlich unter dem Mantel des Geheimdienstes. Im Guardian vom 30. September 2001steht: “What has emerged in the past week is that – like Beghal and his friends in both Paris and London – Atta was not unknown to the authorities. Indeed he was under surveillance between January and May last year (2000) after he was reportedly observed buying large quantities of chemicals in Frankfurt, apparently for the production of explosives and for biological warfare.” In Government Security News steht im Interview mit Anthony Shaffner:
“SHAFFER: No. This was simply a chart showing up with potentialities or clusters of information. That’s what it showed. I took a copy of those clusters of information, a copy of a chart produced by Smith and company which showed, early on in the process, the Atta guy and other terrorists. It was this sheet that I hand-carried personally from LIWA down to Tampa and gave to Captain Philpott.

SHAFFER: It was within two weeks of 9/11, when one of my colleagues, who had kept one of the charts, called me and said, “You’re not going to believe this. He’s on one of our charts — Atta.” I just felt this sinking in the pit of my stomach like, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Able Danger ist unangenehm.
Nicht nur dass die Leiter des Able Danger Programmes noch immer darauf beharren, dass sie vor 9/11 dreizehnmal Mohamed Atta identifiziert hätten: „Weldon said that pre-Sept. 11 intelligence conducted by a secret military unit identified terrorist ringleader Mohamed Atta 13 different times. Weldon said the unit, code-named „Able Danger,“ also identified „a problem“ in Yemen two weeks before the attack on the USS Cole.” Schrieb ABC News am 14. Februar 2006. Und weiter fragte sich der republikanische Kongressabgeordnete Mr. Weldon: “Mr. Speaker, I rise because information has come to my attention over the past several months that is very disturbing. I have learned that, in fact, one of our Federal agencies had, in fact, identified the major New York cell of Mohamed Atta prior to 9/11; and I have learned, Mr. Speaker, that in September of 2000, that Federal agency actually was prepared to bring the FBI in and prepared to work with the FBI to take down the cell that Mohamed Atta was involved in in New York City, along with two of the other terrorists. I have also learned, Mr. Speaker, that when that recommendation was discussed within that Federal agency, the lawyers in the administration at that time said, you cannot pursue contact with the FBI against that cell. Mohamed Atta is in the U.S. on a green card, and we are fearful of the fallout from the Waco incident. So we did not allow that Federal agency to proceed.”

Stephan Fuchs – Die Oktoberüberraschung ist da – Karl Rove, das Hirn des Präsidenten hat es bereits letzten Monat angekündigt. Die Überraschung hat geklappt – und dies pünktlich vor den Wahlen. Die Überraschung ist ein stummes Video und zeigt unter anderem Mohammed Atta, den Mastermind des Terrorangriffes der die Welt veränderte. Das Video datiert auf den 18. 01.2000. Rund 18 Monate vor dem Angriff.

Haben es lustig vor dem Angriff

Das Videodokument wurde über “getestete Kanäle” an die britische Zeitung „Sunday Times“ geliefert. Laut „Sunday Times“ ein Kanal der bereits früher verwendet worden ist und soviel heisst wie: „The video released this weekend was found when the United States invaded Afghanistan in 2001. NBC obtained an analysis of the tape by U.S. intelligence experts, which scrutinizes every frame.“ Das Video ist also seit 5 Jahren in CIA- und / oder Armeehänden und fand seinen Weg zum ersten Oktober 2006 – unterteilt in 5 Clips – zu TimesOnline, wo es heute zu sehen ist. „Getestete Kanäle.“ Zwei der Clips zeigen den Fürsten Bin Laden auf der Tarnak Farm in Afghanistan wie er zu rund hundert Anhänger spricht. Darunter – man glaubt es kaum – ist vermutlich auch Ramzi Binalshibh zu sehen.

Die drei anderen Clips zeigen Mohammed Atta flankiert von einer AK-47 und den Libanesen Ziad Jarrah. Beides Todespiloten von 9-11. Ein Rückenmarkbrechender Beweis für alle Skeptiker der offiziellen Version. Karl Rove’s Oktoberüberraschung ist gelungen. Ähnlich wie die Oktoberüberhaschung von 1980 welche Ronald Reagan in das Weisse Haus brachte. In der so genannten Oktoberüberraschung von 1980 setzten die Reagan Wahlkämpfer äußerst fragwürdige Mittel um amerikanische Botschaftsangehörige die im Iran als Geiseln festgehalten wurden als Wahlkampfmittel und Trumpfkarte ein. Dabei wurde kurioser Weise zu den Geheimverhandlungen in Paris just jenes Flugzeug eingesetzt, in dem Osama Bin Ladens Vater Salem 1988 einen tödlichen Flugzeugabsturz in Texas erlitt. An Bord der Maschine zu den Geheimverhandlung mit den Iranern in Paris saß laut einem Artikel von „The Nation“ der angehende CIA Chef William Casey und Bush Senior. Zufälle soll es geben…

Das Auge der Überwachung
Der Clip mit Osama bin Laden’s Rede zeigt ihn am 8. Januar 2000 wohl im afghanischen Terrorcamp der Tarnak Farm. Bereits zu dieser Zeit (mit Sicherheit im August 2000) hat eine damals noch unbewaffnete (Predator) Drohne aufnahmen des Fürsten bin Laden in seinen wallenden Gewändern gemacht. Das war zu Clinton’s Zeit. Ein ungenannter Regierungsmitarbeiter sagte, dass das damals aufgenommene Video „einer der Gründe“ dafür sei, dass man Predator-Drohnen heute bewaffne. Gut Glück für den Fürsten – gut Glück für Bush.

Die beiden Sequenzen – bin Laden / Atta & Jarrah werden in der Oktoberüberraschung ’06 zusammen präsentiert, obwohl die Örtlichkeiten, der Videozeitstempel und die Bildqualität nicht übereinstimmen. Die lautlosen Bilder zeigen bin Laden in der Masse einerseits und die beiden Verschwörer in einem weissen Raum andererseits. Kein Hinweis darauf, dass sich Atta und Jarrah in einem terroristischen Umfeld aufhalten, die Atta Version könnte genau so gut in Zürich aufgenommen worden sein.

Wir sagen nichts
Seltsam ist, dass sämtliche Videobotschaften stumm sind. Weshalb dürfen sie nichts sagen? Sagen sie überhaupt was, oder sagen sie zusammenhanglosen Schrott? Bemerkenswert ist sicher, dass die Medien davon ausgehen, dass die beiden Strahlemänner ihr Testament verlesen. Obwohl Lippenleser mit den klar erkenntlichen Lippen der gutgelaunten nichts anfangen können. Erzählen sie uns etwas vom Fischen in der Zürcher Limmat? Sicher nicht.

Denn genau für die Zeitspanne ’99 bis 2000, weiss man nicht mit Sicherheit wo sich Atta aufgehalten hat. Klaus Ulrich Kersten, damals Direktor des deutschen Bundeskriminalamtes BKA wusste es. Laut Kersten trainierten Atta und zwei andere Todespiloten Atta’s Terrorcrew von 1999 bis ins Frühjahr 2000 in Afghanistan. Am 29. November 1999 flog Atta auf dem türkischen Flug TK1662 von Hamburg nach Istanbul und dann weiter nach Karachi. Am 24. Februar 2000 flog Atta mit der TK1057 nach Istanbul und mit der TK 1661 zurück nach Hamburg. Woher wusste der mittlerweile bei den Vereinten Nationen in N.Y. arbeitende Kersten und das BKA vom Aufenthalt der drei?

AKI – The father of Mohammed Atta, the leader of the September 11 hijackers, says a video published by the British daily The Sunday Times, showing Atta 20 months before the Twin Towers attacks, is false. „The video-testament of my son is false and I continue to believe he is innocent“ Muhammad al-Amir al-Sayd Atta, 71, told Saudi daily al-Watan. „The Americans tampered with and falsified that video“ he alleged, “ they want to change the truth in order to achieve their goals in the Middle East.“

Atta senior, who keeps a photo of his suicide attacker son in the hallway of his home just outside of Cairo, said: „There is a big difference between this photo and the images shown by the Americans – that one is not my boy.“

The British newspaper said the hourlong tape was obtained „through a previously tested channel,“ and had been authenticated, on condition of anonymity, by sources from al-Qaeda and the United States.

Atta, who flew one of the planes that brought down the World Trade Center, appears alongside Ziad al-Jarrah, who piloted United Airlines flight 93, which crashed into a Pennsylvania field.

Wearing a dark sweater and looking very different from the mugshot of him released after the September 11 attacks, he pats his hair into place after trying on a hat and appears to be the more reticent of the two hijackers.

The Sunday Times said the footage was taken in Afghanistan and was meant to be released after the men’s deaths.

„Alleged Misconduct by Senior DoD Officials Concerning the Able Danger Program and Lieutenant Colonel Anthony A. Shaffer, U.S. Army Reserve“ (pdf).

„The purpose of the DOD IG investigation was to shed light on the pressures and harassment placed on LTC Shaffer and other Able Danger team members. It was also supposed to investigate why Able Danger was glossed over by the Pentagon and why there was such a fight to get information out of the Department of Defense about Able Danger, its findings and the reasoning behind destroying crucial data about linkages and relationship of al-Qaeda prior to 9/11. The IG’s report did little to answer these questions.

Curt Weldon: „They do not explain why LTC Shaffer and other Able Danger principles were harassed by their superiors. Specifically, the report did not address why the Defense Intelligence Agency trumped up phony charges against LTC Shaffer in an effort to revoke his clearance.“

„The DOD IG failed to brief LTC Shaffer’s lawyer before releasing the report. The contents and overall tone and scope of the report were leaked to the media before Congress was even briefed of its findings. The DOD IG failed to explain in their briefing to me and my staff how such information got out to the media. They said they would investigate, but I have very little confidence that anything will come of that. Also, the timeliness of this report, just weeks before Congressional elections, also raises serious questions about the IG’s motivations.

„Acting in a sickening bureaucratic manner, the DOD IG cherry picked testimony from witnesses in an effort to minimize the historical importance of the Able Danger effort. The IG narrowly focused their investigation on the witnesses recollections of the 9/11 hijackers and a chart. The report trashes the reputations of military officers who had the courage to step forward and put their necks on the line to describe important work they were doing to track al-Qaeda prior to 9/11.

„To further substantiate the Able Danger effort, within the last three months of the DOD IG investigation, another person who recently retired from the military has come forward and corroborated the work of the Able Danger program. Additionally, another official within DOD has conducted data runs of stored pre-9/11 data that has yielded information about the Brooklyn cell.

„They do not explain why LTC Shaffer and other Able Danger principles were harassed by their superiors. Specifically, the report did not address why the Defense Intelligence Agency trumped up phony charges against LTC Shaffer in an effort to revoke his clearance. When the DOD IG briefed me, they could not account for why they failed to interview key witnesses connected to this harassment, except for claiming that these witnesses ‚did not come to us‘ — evidence that this was not a proactive investigation.
„The FBI agent that was tasked with setting up meetings between Able Danger and FBI officials — meetings that were block by DOD lawyers — was not interviewed in this report, yet it concluded that ‚Able Danger members were not prohibited from sharing intelligence information with law enforcement authorities.‘

„I am appalled that the DOD IG would expect the American people to actually consider this a full and thorough investigation. I question their motives and the content of this report, and I reject the conclusions they have drawn.“

FableArranger: Able Danger and Other NeoConnivances

Unter der Leitung von Albert A. Stahel hat am 1. Oktober das Institut für Strategische Studien in Wädenswil seinen Betrieb aufgenommen. Das Institut und sein Leiter seien einer objektiven und sachlichen Beurteilung der jeweiligen Lage verpflichtet, heisst es in einer Mitteilung des Instituts. In den vergangenen drei Jahren hat Stahel insbesondere die strategische Entwicklung im Irak und in Afghanistan analysiert.

Der 63-jährige Stahel war während 26 Jahren hauptamtlicher Dozent an der Militärakademie an der ETH Zürich für das Fachgebiet Strategische Studien. Für diesen Fachbereich wirkt er auch nach seinem ETH-Rücktritt noch an der Universität Zürich als Titularprofessor.

Institut für Strategische Studien

Harald Haack – Immer dann, wenn Osama bin Laden mutmaßlich seinen Aufenthaltsort verändern wollte, gab es Meldungen über seinen Tod. Offensichtlich gehört dies zu seiner Taktik – nicht unbedingt, um seine Verfolger zu verwirren, sondern um wieder einmal in den westlichen Medien erwähnt und um von seinen Terrorkämpfern noch ernst genommen zu werden. Denn es muss ihn als angeblichen El-Qaida-Chef entsetzlich schmerzen, wenn niemand über ihn schreibt oder spricht. Das wäre für ihn wahrscheinlich schlimmer als der Tod. Und noch ein wichtiger Umstand: Heute beginnt in Pakistan der Ramadan, die Fastenzeit des Islam.

Nun soll der saudische Geheimdienst, wie die französische Regionalzeitung „L´Est Republicain“ schreibt, dem französischen Geheimdienst in einem „vertraulichen Bericht“ mitgeteilt haben, er habe aus einer bislang „vertrauenswürdigen Quelle“ gehört, Osama bin Laden sei an Typhus verstorben.

Liegt diesbezüglich wohlmöglich ein Übermittlungsfehler vor, der die Nachricht verfälschte?

Aufgrund der saudischen Haltung gegenüber Osama bin Laden und der pakistanischen Regierung hätte die Nachricht ursprünglich auch unfein heißen können: „Osama bin Laden (hat) in Pakistan verschissen“. Das wäre durchaus plausibel, denn in pakistanischen Regierungskreisen scheint es zu gären, vielfach werde ein Putsch befürchtet, berichtete SPIEGEL-Online. Aber aus der ursprünglichen Meldung über Bin Ladens mögliche Vertreibung wurde möglicherweise, als „Stille-Post“-Nachricht weitergegeben – verschissen, Durchfall – die schwere Durchfallerkrankung Typhus, die weltweit vor allem in warmen Ländern mit schlechten Hygienebedingungen vorkommt und unbehandelt zum Tod führt.

Übrigens: Das Wort Typhus ist eine Ableitung des griechischen „typhos“ und charakterisiert kurioserweise zugleich Osama bin Ladens bisheriges Fluchtverhalten: Dunst, Nebel, Schwindel.

Ein Länder übergreifendes Phänomen
Leeren Dunst verbreiten und Fakten vernebeln und umschwindeln – das sollten wir von unseren europäischen wie auch heimischen Politikern schon kennen. Im Grunde genommen ist es egal, ob Osama bin Laden tot ist oder ob er, glattrasiert und gekleidet wie ein CIA-Agent, beispielsweise durch Budapest spazieren geht. Es ist nämlich so, als bestünde die Politik nur noch daraus, ja, als könne Politik nicht mehr anders funktionieren als mittels Lügen und Betrügen. Anderseits fordern gerade jene Politiker, die mit Hilfe gewisser Wahllügen gewählt wurden, von uns Bürgern jene Aufrichtigkeit, die wir bei ihnen vermissen. Leider ist dies ein Länder übergreifendes Phänomen.

Ist der Protest in Ungarn deshalb verwerflich und unverständlich, nachdem Regierungschef Ferenc Gyurcsany zugegeben hatte, seine Wähler massiv betrogen zu haben? Jedenfalls stellte er die anschließenden wütenden Proteste in ein schlechtes Licht. Er behauptete, Meinungsfreiheit rechtfertige keine Gewalt. Damit hat er Recht. Doch waren seine Lügen, die zur Manipulation der Wahl führten und seine daraus resultierende Machtübernahme keine Gewalt? Schlimmer noch: Ist das heimtückischer Terror?

Bei den nächtlichen Protesten gab es angeblich mehr als 150 Verletzte. Wie viele Millionen Wähler aber wurden durch seine Lügen in ihren Glauben, den Richtigen gewählt zu haben, verletzt?

Gyurcsany hatte in einem Tonbandprotokoll gesagt: „Wir haben am Morgen, am Abend und in der Nacht gelogen.“ Er setzte anschließend noch einen drauf und machte seinen erbitterten und von ihm in gewalttätige Aktionen getriebene Wählern ein verspätetes „Wahlgeschenk“: Tränengas und Wasserwerfer.

Trotz der Proteste in Budapest gegen die Regierung Gyurcsanys will er im Amt bleiben. Die Polizei sollte die Ordnung „wieder herstellen“. Doch was ist in Ungarn zurzeit die Ordnung? War der Zustand nach Gyurcsanys betrügerischen Wahlsieg ordentlich? Aber sollten wir nicht die Proteste als Bemühungen zur Wiederherstellung der politischen Ordnung verstehen was Gyurcsanys Rücktritt und Neuwahlen impliziert? Erschreckend ist, dass Politiker wie Ferenc Gyurcsany Bürger nicht nur belügen und betrügen, sondern auch massiv manipulieren und in die Gewalt treiben: Immerhin hatte er die Gewalt gesät. Aber gemessen an der Professionalität von Bush, Blair, Chirac und Merkel wirkt er nur wie ein jämmerliches „Nesthäkchen“.

„Die Deutschen sterben aus“
Die Deutschen sind ein Mischvolk, nicht erst jetzt in diesen Tagen, sondern bereits in historischer Zeit. In etwa der geografischen Mitte Europas gab es viele Stämme. Der Faulheit alt-römischer Politiker ist es zu verdanken, dass all jene ihrer Politik trotzenden Stämme nördlich der Alpen, die sich von den Römern nicht bevormunden lassen wollten, von diesen nicht nur als „Barbaren“, sondern oberflächlich und pauschal als „Germanen“ bezeichnet wurden.

Auf den Flächen des früheren und auch heutigen Deutschlands gab es ein Kommen und Gehen – nicht viel anders als heutzutage. Die Deutschen können folglich nicht aussterben. Wer anderes behauptet, muss sich den Vorwurf gefallen lassen in nationalsozialistischem Gedankengut, in ein Denken, das einer „Herrenmenschenrasse“ den Vorrang einräumt, abgeglitten zu sein.

Eigenartig ist für den deutschen Presse-Mainstream, dass er sich entweder scheinbar über Nazi-Sprüche von Politikern entrüstet und über diese dann wie ein Mob herfällt oder aber intensiv solche schrägen Meldungen wie „Die Deutsche sterben aus“ ähnlich intensiv auskostet und gewissenlos und penetrant sendet wie unmittelbar nach dem 11. September 2001 die filmischen Dokumente vom Fall der Türme des WTC in New York. Mehr noch: Dieser Meldung ist es sicherlich mit zu verdanken, dass kürzlich so viele „Triebwähler“ (wahrscheinlich eine Wortschöpfung von SPIEGEL-Online) gab, die bei den Wahlen ihr Kreuz bei der NPD machten.

Penetrantes demografisches Geschwätz
Eigentlich schade, dass der Fall der Türme bis jetzt nicht jeden Tag gesendet wurde. Die politische Landschaft wie auch das Empfinden der Zuschauer wäre gewiss anders – vielleicht sogar ehrlicher geworden, denn wer täglich ständig denselben Brei vorgesetzt kriegt, kotzt ihn irgendwann wieder aus und wird gegen jene rebellieren, die ihn ausgaben. Und so schlachteten alle deutschen TV-Sender die Meldung „Die Deutschen sterben aus“ bis zum Erbrechen aus. Einige Privat-Sender folgten sogar vorausgegangenen Äußerungen eines Freiburger Universitäts-Professors zur Renten-Diskussion, wie jene, demnach die Deutschen selbst schuld hätten, weil sie nicht rechtzeitig Kinder gezeugt hätten. Sie versuchten krampfhaft „Beweise“ dafür zu konstruieren, dass die Deutschen aussterben. Doch diese Meldung entbehrt nicht nur jeder Grundlage, sondern wurde angeblich empirisch völlig falsch ausgelegt.

Am 23. August 2006 schreibt SPIEGEL-Online über die „Die Mär von den aussterbenden Deutschen“. Demnach wurde „mit gewagten Interpretationen lückenhafter Daten Panikmache betrieben“. Lang und breit rechnete SPIEGEL-Online seinen LeserInnen die angeblich falsch ausgelegten demografischen Daten vor. Alles in allem eine statistische Stammelei, um sich, wie ich meine, wohlmöglich einem Vorwurf der Verbreitung Nazi-Gedankengutes zu entgehen. Dabei war SPIEGEL-Online ebenfalls der Linie „Die Deutschen sterben aus“ brav gefolgt. Ich vermute, dies geschah mehr deshalb, um der „journalistischen Aufgabe“ nachzukommen als weniger, weil der SPIEGEL noch immer nicht die braunen Flecken seiner eigenen Historie aufgearbeitet hat. Dennoch: Alle Zeitungen, Rundfunkstationen und TV-Sender hatten behauptet: „Die Deutschen sterben aus“, aber nur ganz wenige waren der Relativierung und Richtigstellung von SPIEGEL-Online gefolgt.

Trennen sich Medienvertreter nur ungern von ihren massiv verfälschten Nachrichten? Existiert die Zivilcourage nur noch in den Gemeinschaftskundebüchern für Schüler?

Aber was hat dies mit Osama bin Laden zu tun?

Der unpassende Tod
Nun, es ist merkwürdig, welche Aufregung es gegenwärtig um seinen angeblichen Tod gibt. Im Gegensatz zu bisherigen Falschmeldungen, die in den Mainstream-Medien so sehr breitgetreten wurden, dass man gezwungen war den Informationsgehalt für wahr zu halten, gibt es kaum jemanden, der wirklich an den Tod von Osama bin Laden glaubt. Mehr noch: Die Politiker-Clique Chiras-Merkel-Putin soll stinkesauer über die Verbreitung der Todesnachricht sein.

Ein Leser von FOCUS-Online brachte es am Sonnabend in seinem Kommentar scheinbar auf den Punkt: Wenn die Nachricht wahr wäre, dann müsse den staatlichen Terroristenjägern die Grundlage für weitere Einschränkungen der Bürgerrechte fehlen. Ohne Osama bin Laden müsse die Terrororganisation bald in sich zusammenbrechen und sich auflösen. Dann gebe es keine Begründung mehr für die restriktiven Maßnahmen zur Erosion demokratischer Freiheiten durch US-Präsident George W. Bush und die ihm Verpflichteten in den mit den USA „befreundeten“ Staaten.

Doch entgegen der bisherigen Darstellungsweise zumindest der deutschsprachigen Medien wird die Al-Qaida nicht von einem Kopf gesteuert, sondern setzt sich bisherigen Erkenntnissen nach aus vielen unabhängigen Terrorzellen zusammen. Somit kam ein anderer Leser zu folgendem Schluss „Irgend welche Wirrköpfe, die gerne Angst und Schrecken verbreiten, gibt es immer wieder. Warum denen Aufmerksamkeit schenken? Ob er nun wirklich tot ist oder dies zur Tarnung nutzt, oder er ist schon lange tot und andere nutzen seinen Namen … gähn. Wir wollen lieber unser eigenes Leben leben und uns keine Agenda von schrägen Vögeln aufdrängen lassen!“

Das klingt fast wie das Statement eines x-beliebigen Gartenfreundes zur Zeit des Biedermeiers, aber auch nur fast, denn Martin Landvoigt, von dem diese Worte stammen, drückt das aus, was viele Menschen in vielen Ländern gegenwärtig denken und von Politikern verlangen: Freiheit ohne Lügen und Manipulation.

Freiheit nur als Worthülse von Bush, Blair, Chirac, Merkel, Putin und „Nesthäkchen“ Gyurcsany – oder wie die Leere im Weltall?
